Dear Friends,

This year Lakewood Golf Club will celebrate its 50th anniversary.  Lakewood holds a special place in golfing history.  Eight Hall of Famers won at Lakewood over the years and the course is better than ever thanks to a renovation completed in 2009.

There is no doubt - this legendary course is back in full force.

As members of the New Orleans Firefighters Pension Fund, which owns the course, we were delighted to present Lakewood’s new look - updated fairways, tees and greens (March 2009). The course is beautiful – it is fun but challenging and our course architect Ron Garl has done a masterful job of improving the course while retaining the character of a New Orleans icon.

In a few years, Lakewood Golf Course will be accented by a beautiful club house, villas and condominiums.We invite you to review our master plan.

We believe in New Orleans and we believe in Lakewood.  We welcome you to our course and invite you to play on one of the south’s premier golf destinations.
