Brad Weaver

Lakewood Golf Club's PGA Director of Golf Brad Weaver grew up in a golf family. Son of PGA Tour winner Bert Weaver, Brad learned to play the game at the Colonial Country Club in Memphis, Tennessee where his father was the head PGA Golf Professional that hosted an annual PGA Tour stop. Brad known for his playing ability dominated junior and amateur golf in Tennessee. When he was 17, he was the Memphis City Champion, Memphis Junior City Champion, Tennessee High School Champion, Tennessee Junior Champion and Tennessee Amateur Champion. Due to his record that year he was invited to play in the Danny Thomas PGA Tour Memphis Classic. Brad was heavily recruited out of college and chose the golf powerhouse University of Georgia. A four year letterman, Georgia was SEC Champions during his time there.
Brad turned professional in 1986 and has worked at the finest golf facilities in the United States that included the following:

Kapalua Golf Cub – Maui Hawaii
Ko Olina Golf Club – Honolulu Hawaii
Lakewood Golf Cub – New Orleans Louisiana
His background gives the golf student a perspective of his valuable experience in which he shares in growing their game, teaching them to be winners and enjoying the game of a lifetime.
